BIOGRAPHY
Danny E. Darnall was born January 18, 1951. He graduated from Meade County
High School in 1969. He thereafter attended Western Kentucky University at
Bowling Green, Kentucky and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1973
with a major in English and a minor political science. Thereafter he
graduated for the University of Louisville School of Law December 1975. He
became licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in May,
1976.
Throughout his practice of law, Mr. Darnall has been very civic
minded. He helped revive the Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce, served
on the Meade County Public Library Board of Trustees, served as officer of
the Meade County Rotary Club, and served as a member of other various
civic organizations. He served as Prosecuting Attorney (Commonwealth
Attorney) for the 46th Judicial District in Kentucky consisting of Meade,
Breckinridge, and Grayson counties from August 1986 to October 1, 1987.
From 1978 to 1991 he also served as legal counsel for the City of
Irvington, a 5th Class City in Breckinridge County, Kentucky.
Mr. Darnall has been a long-time member of Hardin County Playhouse,
a thirty-five year old community theater in Hardin County, Kentucky,
and has served as the President of its Board of Directors since
1995. He enjoys physical fitness, the arts, sports, hiking, skiing,
and the outdoors.
